Dr. Malva Thomas Co-Pastor
Dr. Malva Thomas, a native of Clarendon, Jamaica, is a teacher, preacher, and conference speaker who demonstrates God’s love to others. As the wife of Senior Pastor, Dr. Michael L. Thomas, she co-pastors New Hope Worship Center of Miramar, Florida.
A minister of the Gospel, Dr. Malva Thomas has a global influence on women and youth of all ages. Her commitment to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She founded the Women’s Ministry at New Hope worship Center to promote unity and sisterhood. She frequently hosts prayer and Bible Study meetings, workshops, and other events to empower women and children to develop in the love of God. She also identifies and develops potential leaders into building strong meaningful relationships and using their God given potential to live a fulfill life. She has a masters and doctorial degree in theology and is a great expositor of the biblical truth.
In addition, Dr. Malva founded the New Hope Economic Development Center Inc. a community outreach program for families and youth at risk seeking an advanced and innovative approach to learning and personal development. With a bachelor’s degree and certification in Elementary Education and Reading K-12, Dr. Thomas has a heart for academic excellence. She serves as an active mentor in the community and a teacher at one of the local High Schools in Miramar, Florida, where she plays an instrumental role in helping students to excel in reading and test-taking skills.
Above all her accomplishments, Dr. Thomas considers supporting her husband in ministry and raising Godly children her primary purpose. As a mother of three, she firmly believes that the best way to raise successful children is to be an active role model in demonstrating the love of God.
